About the Role

You will work with our supportive team to provide our patients with dedicated and specialised care.  Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, the successful candidate will work as a member of the team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will provide high quality care to all patients and clients.

 

 

About You

To thrive in this role, you should embody a positive and effective team spirit, showcasing excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

  • Currently enrolled in 2nd year Nursing at University or current Diploma in Nursing Student.
  • A Certificate III in Health Service Assistance (Assisting in nursing work in acute care) or equivalent.
  • Availability for a flexible roster covering all 7 days of the week.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • High level of interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively according to directions
  • High level of customer service and excellent time management skills
  • Understanding of infection control principles

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
