About the role:
We have full time, part time and casual Registered Nurse positions available within our Cardiology/Cardiothoracic ward. With a patient first focus, you will provide high quality care that cares for the patient as a whole and involves them in their own care. You will work alongside a supportive team of Nurse’s and a wider multidisciplinary team while reporting to the Nursing Unit Manager (NUM).
You will be required to work a seven-day rotating roster that includes morning, afternoon and night shifts. You will also be supported in your new role and set up for success by completing a detailed on boarding and orientation plus ongoing support from a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE).
What we are looking for:
- You’ll have current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years’ post grad experience.
- You’ll ideally have 1 year of experience working within a Cardiology/Cardiothoracic setting.
- You’ll have a passion to continue learning and growing your skill set.
- You’ll have exceptional communication skills (both verbally and written) with demonstrated experience professionally communicating with patients, their families and colleagues.
- You’ll have the flexibility to work a seven-day rotating roster including morning, afternoon and night shifts.
- You’ll have full Australian working rights.
