About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager looking to advance their career, to join our dynamic and expanding Medical/Oncology Ward. Sutherland prides itself with their team nursing model and has ongoing support from a Clinical facilitator and Educator on the ward plus the Nurse Unit Manager. Sutherland has a very supportive working environment, flexibility with rostering, self-rostering and an area of growth and developmental opportunities for staff. As part of hospital redevelopment Sutherland has moved into the brand-new state of the art ward. Open to negotiating part time hours with right candidate.

 

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in acute surgical nursing role
  • Previous management experience highly regarded but not essential
  • Excellent communication, leadership & interpersonal skills
  • Available to cover night shifts when required

 

 

Remuneration

On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $55.92 - $ 57.76 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC Associate Nurse Unit Manager yr1-yr2)

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
