Position Profile
As the hospital continues its expansion, including a new 112-bed public ward block currently in development, we are looking to employ Cardiology Registrars to join the team on a full-time/part-time fixed-term basis to serve the Cardiology department in teams and hospital admissions.
The Cardiology department at JHC currently manages up to 2500 patients per year. The department runs a Coronary Care Unit, a Telemetry Care Unit and a Cath Lab, which supports cardiac catheterization and device implantation procedures. The department also provides various cardiac imaging services, including transoesophageal echocardiograms. Successful candidates will also be rostered on an after-hours roster, including night shifts, all while supported by the many approachable and knowledgeable Consultants.
JHC is looking to employ Registrars with a salary range of $139,305 – $214,046 p.a pro rata (including base salary, 11.5% superannuation and professional development allowance). High overnight penalties are paid, and casual contracts are available to suitable candidates.
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated commitment to uphold and promote the Ramsay Way core values.
- Registered as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Authority (Medical Board of Australia).
- A minimum of three years of clinical experience.
- A willingness to work night shifts and supervise junior doctors.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
