We Are Seeking An Experienced Fire And Security Officer To Join Our Fire And Security Team On A Casual Basis.

About the Role

Our Fire and Security department is proactive and motivated in providing services for the safety and security for patients, visitors, and staff.

The role requires an individual who thrives in a team environment and is committed to responding efficiently to assistance requests and activated emergency codes across the campus within the department's scope  and taking part in concierge duties.

Reporting to the Fire & Security Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring computer based security, surveillance and access control systems.

About You

To excel in this role, you should be highly organized, which will help you prioritize your tasks efficiently. You should be able to thrive in a team setting while also showing the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Flexibility to handle a 24/7 rotating shift environment, while also having the ability to work 12-hour shifts.

You will also bring:

• Current Security Officer Licence
• Previous experience in a similar role at a hospital (desirable)
• Previous experience with Fire Safety Systems (desirable)
• Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills when interacting with other disciplines, patients and the public

Remuneration

A base hourly rate of $30.35 to $32.34 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
