About the Role

As Endoscope Technician your responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning, disinfecting, testing, maintenance of Endoscopy equipment and processing of Olympus scopes
  • Comply with AS/NZ standards 4187 2014, GENCA
  • Operate interpret and document all machinery operational requirements
  • Report and document all quality activities
  • Ensure priority of instrumentation and processes

 

About You

Essential Criteria:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation
  • Minimum 12 months experience
  • Certificate III Sterilisation services
  • Endoscopy reprocessing experience (preferable Soluscope)
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • An ability to achieve high quality standards whilst working independently
  • Flexibility of work hours
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills - including MS office and various data bases An interest in promoting best practice patient care
  • A focus on professional development

Desirable Criteria:

  • GENCA accreditation
  • Olympus reprocessing certificate (Advantageous) or familiarity with Olympus equipment.
