Advanced Trainee Registrar – Infectious Diseases
Temporary Full time

This is a rare opportunity to work in an RACP accredited training role in Infectious Diseases at one of WA’s largest public-private hospitals

About us

The Infectious Diseases department is a critical consultative department in the hospital, seeing patients from diverse medical and surgical specialties, including maternity. The department is also intimately involved in standard three activities, including infection prevention and control and antimicrobial stewardship. The department also enjoys close ties with the microbiology service at Western Diagnostic Pathology.

JHC is one of the largest hospitals in Western Australia, treating more than 70,000 inpatients on average annually. Operated by Ramsay Health Care, Australia's largest private hospital operator, JHC provides comprehensive acute medical care to both public and private patients. More information is available at www.joondaluphealthcampus.com.au
Located 25 kilometres north of Perth's CBD, the hospital is well-situated, and its management supports and encourages staff to achieve work-life balance while actively supporting their professional development and careers.

The RACP accredits the role for 12 months of core Infectious Diseases training. An RMO provides support with a regular medical student presence.
