Cardiac Service Manager - Permanent Full-Time Opportunity

About the Role

This is a key leadership opportunity for an existing ANM or leader to step up in the Nurse Unit Manager role within our cardiology unit. Ideally you will have cardiac nursing qualifications and experience, however if you have a passion for leading teams to provide great patient care you may well be suited to this position. Along with leading the daily operations of our cardiology unit, you will support several projects as we extend services within cardiology, including heart failure and structural heart programs.

 

 

About You                                 

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical leadership skillset in an acute hospital setting with previous experience as a NUM or ANUM in a relevant specialty. You will bring a keen eye for strategic management of clinical staff, financial and material resources along with the capacity to effectively manage bed flow within the ward.

You will also bring;

  • Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Experience as a Clinical Manager and/or relevant specialty experience (Cardiac Services)
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate a continuous improvement / risk management program
  • Sound Computer skills in MS Office suite including Excel
