What you’ll be doing in this role: 

As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN), you will work under the direct supervision of an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse to provide safe, compassionate person-centred care to patients.

You will be required to provide direct care activities to patients in accordance with the care plan as well as contribute to collecting accurate health care information and maintaining accurate health documentation as required.

What we are looking for:

  • The ability to work 5 x 6-hour shifts starting at 630am – we can build the roster to fit with your lifestyle and commitments.
  • A team player who has great time management skills and can manage your own and shared workloads
  • An interest in Nursing best practice with an understanding of policies to ensure confidentiality, dignity, respect, and rights of patients are upheld
  • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • You must hold the HLT33115 Cert 3 in Health Services Assistance qualification and ideally have completed the HLTAIN001 Assist with nursing care in an acute care environment elective
  • Full Australian Working rights
