An exciting new leadership opportunity has opened for a Nurse Unit Manager to join our team!  

 

About the Role

The successful candidate will be joining our brand-new Rehabilitation Ward, including Tyromotion Robotics!

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, you will work with and support nursing staff in achieving excellence in care delivery in line with best practice and legislative requirements.

The successful candidate will supervise, lead, direct and motivate staff to achieve outcomes with the ability to manage financial and human resources. You will effectively manage roster processes, allocate duties for nursing staff, proactively increase occupancy where possible and provide a positive, safe, learning environment.

The new Rehabilitation space will allow the manager the opportunity to work with Executive to grown the services provided. 

 

 Your Skills and Experience

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Demonstrated extensive clinical skills and experience as a Clinical Nurse or Nurse Unit Manager delivering high standards of clinical care utilising specialist knowledge
  • Post graduate Clinical Nursing qualification (or currently working towards)
  • Minimum of 3 years management or team leading experience
  • Be professional and highly motivated with a passion for enhancing staff engagement
  • Proven effective communication and interpersonal skills in a multidisciplinary environment

 

Remuneration

Will be as per Ramsay NSW Nurses EBA. Based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
